Marching Band Info for 2015

Standard

Students & Parents:

Registration for the Phoenixville HS Marching Phantoms is now open!   Come on out and be a part of what is sure to be an amazing experience this fall – one that you can not find anywhere else!

This past year, the Marching Phantoms ended up in 4th place at Championships…the highest final season ranking they’ve had since 2008.  We are looking to build upon that success – but we need YOU in order to do it!

Uniform2015We also will be outfitting the entire marching band with NEW UNIFORMS!  Recently approved by the school district, this sharp new look is one that you do NOT want to miss out on.  These are currently in production, and will be delivered in time to premiere at the first home football game this fall.

The calendar for the Marching Phantoms is now online: you can check it out here.  It is 99% complete as far as actual “days”.   Times and exact locations will be finalized over the next few weeks.

You will notice that we are TENTATIVELY planning an overnight performance trip this fall – more details soon! 🙂

Even if you are “on the fence” about whether or not you should do this, SIGN UP, and come on out to the first few rehearsals we have scheduled.   I GUARANTEE you will enjoy yourself and see that this is an activity worth getting involved in!

For Parents:

Having your son or daughter as part of the Phoenixville Marching Phantoms has MANY benefits.   From time management to dedication to the social environment, the skillset that students learn is something that has been documented many times.  It has also been proven that students in a high school marching band have a “leg up” in the college admissions process and gaining employment in the future!
